We encourage all men to join with us to engage their skills and interests, celebrate their diversity and look after their physical and mental health.
Our membership is open to men of all ages and experience. You don't need to be a tradesman, builder or engineer to join. We value everyone's experience, no matter what their background. We cater for all levels of physical and mental ability, and we can offer activities to suit men from any background. We provide a safe place for men to interact and engage with each other in a non-judgmental, encouraging space.

Fee Information

The sheds membership year runs from 1 January to 31 December each year.
Members joining during the year pay a pro-rata membership fee to take them through to the end of the year. The shed rules of operation provide for the Management Committee to decide when and in what way the membership fees are to be collected.

Membership Fees for existing Members

For 2025, members have the option of renewing their membership by making one payment of $75 at the beginning of the year, or by making two payments of $37.50.
If the two payment option is taken, the first payment needs to be made by mid-February and will take their membership through to 30 June. The second payment will be due in July and will take the membership through to 31 December.

Joining fees for new Members

The joining fee paid by new members has two components. A membership fee component ($75) that takes the membership through to the end of the year and a clothing component ($45), that provides for a shed shirt and hat, as well as a PPE pack.
The membership components value depends on the month in which the person joins and is calculated at a pro-rata amount of the full year membership fee. It drops as the year progresses. The clothing component is fixed at $45, no matter when the person joins, as they keep the shirt, hat and PPE pack.

We also encourage prospective members to drop in and inspect our complex and have a chat, prior to making a commitment to join.
